i like ikea alot, but the other day i had to wait 50 mins for the shuttle bus from Bedok to Ikea tampines which really tested my patience. i shud stick to the one at Alexandra. why did’nt ikea built it’s mega store next to imm?? sigh.
i had the weirdest dream. but i guess it’s true dreams represent our heart’s desire.
i hope the bad omen i felt was a false alarm..

amazing right? de-clutter your work desk by attaching gadgets to a pegboard underneath your desk. too bad that woodwork stuff cant be found in sg.. if can this would be a fun DIY project.
..was a success i guess. Celebrated ck and g’s birthday and hopefully they like what they got.
ck is officially an ipod owner. i am so jealous happy for him. too bad he only spotted the uber cool plastic cover at wheelock place after buying the rubber ones at club21. haha
mud pie at coffee club is great.
i got the call from the workplace i went for interview.
i didnt get the job. and it didnt take long for them to decide. sigh..

exam results were out last friday. i checked my results rather late as i didnt want to think about it at work, which will make work doubly sian. kind of expected it. Average student with lazy attitude will get less that average results. next sem will be much much worse. maths II and stats. physics II. maritime econs. seeing how badly i do for my maritime papers, it’s gonna be very very difficult from now on. sigh..

while at work last week, i was approached by insurance agents/ “charity” seekers almost everyday. there was one time where i was approached even when i was resting outside the mall on one of the seats. so irritating man.
there was one agent that was particularly cute interesting. i was walking briskly thru the group of agents and she tapped me on my shoulder. i was about to launch my “no i’m not interested / no money / pls fuck off” speech when she asked, “Do you know which bus to take to tampines?” with a half embarrassed smile. i was surprised as i didnt expect that question and her cute expression. i replied i didnt know and she kinda chatted bout random stuff other than her insurance policies. but den she wanted me to sit down on their chairs and i knew it was time to leave. i apologised and told her to “jia you”. she didnt seem to get angry and even told me to jia you too.
it was after a while when i realised we were at tampines when she asked the question. haha..
new job’s okay, but not too okay. it’s Murphy at work when day i have the least breakfast is the day with the most heavy lifting.

so i was talking to the auntie the other day;
“So what did you for dinner ah xiao di?” she asked.
“Bread..”
“Wa eat bread ah? Filling meh?
“Haha.. can lohh. Convenient ma.”
“Den breakfast?”
“I eat Gardenia.. different jams.”
“Wa you like bread alot hor! Got eat anything after you get home after work?”
“Bread also.. haha” i was trying to be funny, and auntie gave me a weird look.

earlier today i had an interview for another job. the last time i had an interview was back in JC for Popular bookstore. That’s many years ago.. this time it felt like an oral exam. ppl taking turns to face the examiners. there were many ppl being interviewed. i’m drained from my current job and didnt give this interview much thought until i was in line waiting for my turn to meet the “examiners”. i got really nervous as it dawned on me that getting the job will depend greatly from what i’m gonna say later. and it was my turn before long. and i screwed it up quite badly. it’s like in oral where the teacher will ask, “anything else you’d like to add?” and you know you should say more to salvage your score. i was asked the above question from the bored “examiner”, and this time i cant really think of anything to say so i ended lamely with, “nothing thanks”. sigh.
new job is okay. it’s only for a few days and it’d be much better if i do not need to take the hour long mrt there. and back.
and i think it says something when two aunties who i spoke to individually both think i’m studying in poly and have not completed my ns.
must be my lack of height and recently added fat.
