Dumbo packs his macbook and makes his way to the school library one hour away. Because there’s not much ppl in the school library during the school holidays, and there’s aircon.
Dumbo buys his new favourite high fat mcdonald’s meal, Sausage McGriddles with egg. yummy pancake buns surrounding sausage platter. good thing dumbo only discovered this after his temporary veg diet.
Something went off as dumbo sets foot into the library. Did i bring my thumbdrive? the one with all the work inside?
Dumbo didnt bring the thumbdrive with all his work inside.

Dumbo sets down in the library, opening up his take away Mc breakfast. only to realise the Mc staff gave him sausage mcmuffin with egg instead of that yummy pancake sausage burger.

Today is the 1st of July, 2009.
I woke up late today, as i forgot to set the alarm clock the night before.
Rushed to get to work. In my hurry, earphones were left at home. So didnt have the any music with me.
Was assigned a research task at 515pm today, due tmr morning. Brought work home. Am working on it now.
Have something else due tmr, which i’d need to touch up quite substantially.
Even with all of the above, today’s a nice day 
whats the difference between a scholar and dumbo? scholar gets his own office (complete with door and great window view) while dumbo gets cubicle seat next to main door.
internship has started. during the initial chat with my supervisor, it was so hard to resist the urge to ask for bigger allowance.
the office ppl are rather friendly and are on a first name basis.

Scholar and me were posted to the same office. Our supervisors treated us for lunch on our first day, together with this new guy who reported to work on the same day. During our conversation, the supervisor asked, “So what school were you guys from?”
New guy: HCJC.
Scholar: NJ.
Me: (neighborhood school).
followed by a split second of awkward silence. Sigh.
In my haste to pack up and leave the library (as miss iris says the next bus is coming soon), i accidentally switched off someone else’s laptop power instead of mine before plugging out the power cord.
first thought was, “oh sh*t, hope that laptop had battery in it” before glancing up. The lady whose laptop was affected looked down, meaning her laptop was interrupted. (oops. no battery. sh*t) its power supply was cut off, causing it to shut down. quickly apologised and expected to be screamed at. surprisingly, she didnt get angry and shrugged it off with a slight smile. wow.
while scurrying for a hole to hide in, i wondered what would my reaction be if i was in her position.
